RE: Re: FetterNet is a Web Site!

I've been down in Texas for the last few weeks-- I just got back and just

got my first chance to look at the FetterNet... Great work! I

particularly enjoyed the photos and the links to other families. Imagine

if everyone were linked together that way. It probably wouldn't take too

long to come across names of people you know but whom you never knew you

were related to (even as a 23rd cousin, 7 times removed). I read, by the

way, that in the Appalachian Mountains they "reckon kin out to 32nd

cousins."

I noticed on the birthday page that yours is coming up, Uncle Jim. Please

also give my birthday wishes to Aunt Patty-- her birthday is D-Day,

isn't it?

And the pictures. I wonder if there are others in the family who

agree that Uncle Francie looks exactly like Warren Buffett.

Take care,

Sean

RE: RE: Fetter Family Tree online

          Robert,

I just looked at the Fetternet Web Site. Wow! I am impressed

with the work you all have done. And, I am honored to be

included. (My birth year is 1960.) The photos are stunning -

          all those crew cuts!

Good news - my mom found in my grandmother's photo collection her

copy of the Gertrude and Jim portraits and the Jim Burns family

group photo (circa early 1940s perhaps). She has sent them to me

on loan and I will soon get to scan them and send them to you.

My husband, a techno type, has taken interest in this.

Again, wow! And I'll be in touch further. My mother has Uncle

Jim's lemon ice cream recipe, but feels rather shy about coming

forward with it. Knowing that it exists, you might want to ask

Francie if he has the recipe (but don't reveal your source!). If

it is otherwise lost to the world, I will try to pry it from her!

I note there is a Tyree family web site as well. Wow for the

          third time!

          Jane
